LEGO PIKMIN MEMORIAL - ピクミンメモリアル is a project on LEGO CUUSOO created by King_Arthur on August 13^th, 2012. A series of polls were held to determine which items and enemies would be featured in the final version.

Project Content[]

The project is based off the Nintendo videogame Pikmin, a strategy game set in the future, when all human inhabitants of Earth have died out, possibly due to a disaster, and the animal life is quite different from the present. Captain Olimar must find parts to build a ship with which he can escape the planet. He must utilize the Pikmin, miniature creatures buried under the surface of the Earth, to help him find the parts for his ship.

King_Arthur, in order to produce a decided single set for his project, has created fifteen models for entry. Supporters of his project vote for a total of eight models each, and the most popular models will be featured in the final set he presents to the LEGO CUUSOO staff at 10,000 supports. The final planned set will be rather large, with four brick-built Treasures and four brick-built Creatures, as well as Olimar, Louie, and a good number of microfigure Pikmin. The microfigure Pikmin had previously been utilizing potential new elements, but due to LEGO's announcement on - The Legend of Zelda Project - about new elements, he will try a different approach for the flowers on the microfigure Pikmin.

Many attempts have been made across the web to celebrate our favourite Nintendo game : PIKMIN, but none using the Microfigures of LEGO as Pikmins.

After the announcement of Shigeru Miyamoto concerning the next PIKMIN 3 on Wii U, I thought to reload the idea of a memorial of this wonderful universe as Filip Johannes Felberg did.

This CUUSOO will attempt to exhibit these little ones by the perspective of four sets of cute and colorful bricks, each showing a season ( summer, autumn, winter, and spring ) with one treasure over their head and one creature in front fighting against Olimar or Louie.
